Disk Allocation Viewer for Linux or DAVL, is a project that can obtain the state of fragmentation on disk and visualize it.DAVL is checked on the following systems:* Fedora Core 2 (Upstream Kernel 2.6.9)* Fedora Core 3 (Upstream Kernel 2.6.9)* Miracle Linux v3.0 (kernel 2.4.21 that comes with distribution) (Some users have reported that Davl can work on the other Linux distributions.
