You may try:./configure --prefix=/usr/to install linuxlogo in /usr/X11R6/bin/ (I haven't tested whether this works),or do as I did and put /usr/local/X11R6/bin/ in your path (and/usr/local/X11R6/man/man1/ in your man path).
