SECURITY OUTFIT Akonix Systems has warned of a new pishing scam for the users of Yahoo messenger.
Under the scam, users receive a message which appears to be from someone on their buddy list.
It asks them to click on an apparent Yahoo! URL.
This takes them to a website where they are asked to install their credentials and gives the attacker has access to all information stored on their Yahoo! profile.
Exactly the sort of thing your friends would do isn't it?
