The NPD Group's software sales estimates for June show that American gamers have not tired of mini-games, Pokemon or Guitar Hero.
Nintendo revealed earlier this month that over a half-million gamers had snapped up Mario Party 8, with the lion's share of sales happening in June.
Wii Play saw similar hardcore gamer heart-stopping stellar sales.
